      <image:title>About - about</image:title>
<image:caption>Anja Saleh is an independent curator, writer, art and cultural consultant working across memory and futures studies, design, and socially engaged practice. Her work includes the development and curation of exhibitions, artist residencies, discursive programs, and public-facing formats within both institutional and independent settings. She applies a collaborative and process-oriented approach to curatorial work, often engaging with artists, researchers, and communities through projects that prioritize situated knowledge, critical reflection, and accessible cultural mediation. Her past projects include the co-curation of multidisciplinary residency programs, institutionally hosted exhibitions, and the long-term coordination of fellowships for emerging artists. Saleh regularly contributes to public discourse through lectures, panels, and institutional collaborations. Her writing has been published in cultural contexts, including a poetry collection released by Edition Assemblage (2021). She is based between Berlin and Cairo and works in German, English, and Arabic.</image:caption>

About the book Soon, The Future Of Memory, the first full-length poetry collection by Anja Saleh, is a hopeful and vulnerable portrayal of the life of a German woman of African descent. An odyssey from mere acceptance to reimagining and rethinking definitions of Africanness, Arabness and Blackness and the perceived self in a modern context.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Soon, The Future Of Memory (2021) - "Entstanden ist das Gedicht beim Gedanken an die fast täglich wiederkehrende Frage "Wo kommst du her?".
